LNK304PN IC – Power Integrations – AC-DC Off Line Switcher IC

80.24
The LNK304PN is specifically designed to replace all linear and capacitor-fed (cap dropper) non-isolated power supplies in the under 360 mA output current range at equal system cost while offering much higher performance and energy efficiency. LinkSwitch-TN devices integrate a 700 V power MOSFET, oscillator, simple On/Off control scheme, a high-voltage switched current source, frequency jittering, cycle-by-cycle current limit Figure 1. Typical Buck Converter Application (See Application Examples Section    for Other Circuit Configurations).and thermal shutdown circuitry onto a monolithic IC. The start-up and operating power are derived directly from the voltage on the DRAIN pin, eliminating the need for a bias supply and associated circuitry in buck or fly back converters. The fully integrated auto-restart circuit in the LNK304 safely limits output power during fault conditions such as short-circuit or open loop, reducing component count and system-level load protection cost.  A local supply provided by the IC allows use of a non-safety graded optocoupler acting as a level shifter to further enhance line and load regulation performance in buck and buck-boost converters.

MAX1555 IC – (SMD SOT-23 Package) – Lithium Ion/Polymer USB Battery Charger IC

206.50
The MAX1555 charge a single-cell lithium-ion (Li+) battery from both USB* and AC adapter sources. They operate with no external FETs or diodes, and accept operating input voltages up to 7V. On-chip thermal limiting simplifies PC board layout and allows optimum charging rate without the thermal limits imposed by worst-case battery and input voltage. When the MAX1555 thermal limits are reached, the chargers do not shut down, but progressively reduce charging current. The MAX1555 instead features a CHG output to indicate charging status. With USB connected, but without DC power, charge current is set to 100mA (max). This allows charging from both powered and unpowered USB hubs with no port communication required. When DC power is connected, charging current is set at 280mA (typ). No input-blocking diodes are required to prevent battery drain. The MAX1555 are available in 5-pin thin SOT23 packages and operate over a -40?C to +85?C range.

MAX186 Low Power 8-Channel Serial 12-Bit ADC Maxim DIP-20 Package

867.30
The MAX186 are 12-bit data-acquisition systems that combine an 8-channel multiplexer, high bandwidth track/hold, and serial interface together with high conversion speed and ultra-low power consumption. The devices operate with a single +5V supply or dual ?5V supplies. The analog inputs are software configurable for unipolar/bipolar and single-ended/differential operation. The 4-wire serial interface directly connects to SPI, QSPI? and MICROWIRE? devices without external logic. A serial strobe output allows direct connection to TMS320 family digital signal processors.
