The MAX1555 charge a single-cell lithium-ion (Li+) battery from both USB* and AC adapter sources. They operate with no external FETs or diodes, and accept operating input voltages up to 7V. On-chip thermal limiting simplifies PC board layout and allows optimum charging rate without the thermal limits imposed by worst-case battery and input voltage. When the MAX1555 thermal limits are reached, the chargers do not shut down, but progressively reduce charging current. The MAX1555 instead features a CHG output to indicate charging status. With USB connected, but without DC power, charge current is set to 100mA (max). This allows charging from both powered and unpowered USB hubs with no port communication required. When DC power is connected, charging current is set at 280mA (typ). No input-blocking diodes are required to prevent battery drain. The MAX1555 are available in 5-pin thin SOT23 packages and operate over a -40?C to +85?C range. 

The MAX186 are 12-bit data-acquisition systems that combine an 8-channel multiplexer, high bandwidth track/hold, and serial interface together with high conversion speed and ultra-low power consumption. The devices operate with a single +5V supply or dual ?5V supplies. The analog inputs are software configurable for unipolar/bipolar and single-ended/differential operation. The 4-wire serial interface directly connects to SPI, QSPI? and MICROWIRE? devices without external logic. A serial strobe output allows direct connection to TMS320 family digital signal processors.

The MAX232E is from the family of RS-232 and V.28 transceivers with high ?15kV ESD HBM protection and integrated charge pump circuitry for single +5V supply operation. The various combinations of features are outlined in the Selector Guide. The drivers and receivers for all ten devices meet all EIA/TIA232E and CCITT V.28 specifications at data rates up to 120kbps when loaded. The MAX232E come in 16-pin TSSOP, narrow SO, wide SO, and DIP packages.
