A wire stripper is a small, hand-held device used to strip the electrical insulation from electric wires. If you want to use professional-level wire strippers, look no further. These wire strippers are a combination of the gauged and automatic wire strippers and will deliver the best of both worlds in a single tool. The blades can be swapped out for stripping other gauges, and watching the mechanism work almost makes stripping wires fun. It has knife-type blades that cleanly strip wire up to 7/8″ (22mm). One-third less hand pressure is need for each strip. This tool eliminates nicking, cutting, and fraying of wire because the wire gripper holds the wire centered in the hole. Remove up to 1″ in the length of the insulation layer (jacket layer) in a single step. The tension-loaded wire-grip gently holds the cable in place while retaining the cable geometry. Precision machined stripping holes easily remove the jacket insulation without damaging the wire. Recoil spring design returns tool to ready position upon cycle completion.
