An electronic switch is an electronic component or device that can switch an electrical circuit, interrupting the current or diverting it from one conductor to another. 4 position or 4 in 1, Dual In-Line Package (DIP) SPDT slide switch, namely the more traditional toggle switch is a set of electrical switches which is packed in a small box or housing. This DIP single pole double throw (SPDT) switch forces the operator to choose between connecting to either one of two terminals as such the switch will remain connected to one or the other, and the two terminals will never be connected.
