28.32
The 74HC4543 high-speed silicon-gate device is a BCD to 7-segment latch/decoder/driver designed primarily for directly driving liquid-crystal displays. It has an active-high disable input (LD), an active-high blanking input (BI) and a phase input (PH) to which a square wave is applied for liquid-crystal applications. This square wave also is applied to the backplane of the liquid-crystal display. This device also can be used, in conjunction with current amplifying devices, for driving LEDs, incandescent, fluorescent, and gas-discharge displays. For these applications the phase input provides a means to obtain active-high or active-low segment outputs.

74HC540 IC – (SMD Package) – Octal 3-state Inverting Buffer IC (74540 IC)

41.30
The 74HC540 is identical in pinout to the LS540. The device inputs are compatible with Standard CMOS outputs. External pull?up resistors make them compatible with LSTTL outputs. The HC540A is an octal inverting buffer/line driver/line receiver designed to be used with 3?state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and other bus?oriented systems. This device features inputs and outputs on opposite sides of the package and two ANDed active?low output enables.

74HC540 Octal 3-state Inverting Buffer IC (74540 IC) DIP-20 Package

30.68
74HC540 is a 20 Pin Octal 3-state Inverting Buffer IC having 2V to 6V Operating Voltage range with 6mA output current. The 3-STATE  buffers  utilize  advanced  silicon-gate  CMOS  technology.  They  possess  high  drive  current  outputs  which enable  high  speed operation  even  when  driving  large  bus  capacitances. These  circuits  achieve  speeds  comparable  to  low  power Schottky devices, while retaining the advantage of CMOS circuitry, i.e., high noise immunity, and low power consumption. Both devices have a fanout of 15 LS-TTL equivalent inputs. The  74HC540  is  an  inverting  buffer  and  the MM74HC541 is a non-inverting buffer. The 3-STATE control gate operates as a two-input NOR such that if either G1 or  G2  are  HIGH,  all  eight  outputs  are  in  the  high-impedance state.

74HC541 IC – (SMD Package) – Octal 3-State Buffer/Line Driver IC (74541 IC)

34.22
The 74HC541 is an octal non-inverting buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs. The device features two output enables (OE1 and OE2). A HIGH on OEn causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Inputs include clamp diodes that enable the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.

74HC573 IC – (SMD Package) – Octal D-Type Transparent Latch IC (74573 IC)

34.22
The 74HC573 devices are octal transparent D-type latches that feature 3-state outputs designed specifically for driving highly capacitive or relatively low-impedance loads. They are particularly suitable for implementing buffer registers, I/O ports, bidirectional bus drivers, and working registers. While the latch-enable (LE) input is high, the Q outputs respond to the data (D) inputs. When LE is low, the outputs are latched to retain the data that was set up.

24.78
The 74HC573 high speed octal D-type latches utilize advanced silicon-gate P-well CMOS technology. They possess the high noise immunity and low power consumption of standard CMOS integrated circuits, as well as the ability to drive 15 LS-TTL loads. Due to the large output drive capability and the 3-STATE feature, these devices are ideally suited for interfacing with bus lines in a bus organized system.
