AD584 IC – High Precision Voltage Reference IC

683.22
The AD584 is an 8-terminal precision voltage reference offering pin programmable selection of four popular output voltages: 10.000 V, 7.500 V, 5.000 V and 2.500 V. Other output voltages, above, below, or between the four standard outputs, are available by the addition of external resistors. The input voltage can vary between 4.5 V and 30 V. Laser wafer trimming (LWT) is used to adjust the pin programmable output levels and temperature coefficients, resulting in the most flexible high precision voltage reference available in monolithic form. In addition to the programmable output voltages, the AD584 offers a unique strobe terminal that permits the device to be turned on or off. When the AD584 is used as a power supply reference, the supply can be switched off with a single, low power signal. In the off state, the current drained by the AD584 is reduced to approximately 100 ?A. In the on state, the total supply current is typically 750 ?A, including the output buffer amplifier. The AD584 is recommended for use as a reference for 8-, 10-, or 12-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that require an external precision reference. In addition, the device is ideal for analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) of up to 14-bit accuracy, either successive approximation or integrating designs, and in general, it can offer better performance than that provided by standard self-contained references.

AD586 IC – High Precision 5V Reference IC

820.10
The AD586 represents a major advance in state-of-the-art monolithic voltage references. Using a proprietary ion-implanted buried Zener diode and laser wafer trimming of high stability thin-film resistors, the AD586 provides outstanding performance at low cost. The AD586 offers much higher performance than most other 5 V references. Because the AD586 uses an industry-standard pinout, many systems can be upgraded instantly with the AD586. The buried Zener approach to reference design provides lower noise and drift than band gap voltage references. The AD586 offers a noise reduction pin that can be used to further reduce the noise level generated by the buried Zener. The AD586 is recommended for use as a reference for 8-, 10-, 12-, 14-, or 16-bit DACs that require an external precision reference. The device is also ideal for successive approximation or integrating ADCs with up to 14 bits of accuracy and, in general, can offer better performance than the standard on-chip references.

AD590 Two-Terminal Temperature Transducer IC

1,357.00
The AD590 is a 2-terminal integrated circuit temperature transducer that produces an output current proportional to absolute temperature. For supply voltages between 4 V and 30 V the device acts as a high-impedance, constant current regulator passing 1 ?A/K. Laser trimming of the chip?s thin-film resistors is used to calibrate the device to 298.2 ?A output at 298.2 K (25?C).

AD595 IC – Thermocouple Amplifier IC

1,178.82
The AD595 is a complete instrumentation amplifier and thermocouple cold junction compensator on a monolithic chip. It combines an ice point reference with a precalibrated amplifier to produce a high level (10 mV/?C) output directly from a thermocouple signal. Pin-strapping options allow it to be used as a linear amplifier-compensator or as a switched output setpoint controller using either fixed or remote setpoint control. It can be used to amplify its compensation voltage directly, thereby converting it to a stand-alone Celsius transducer with a low impedance voltage output. The AD595 includes a thermocouple failure alarm that indicates if one or both thermocouple leads become open. The alarm output has a flexible format which includes TTL drive capability. The AD595 can be powered from a single ended supply (including +5 V) and by including a negative supply, temperatures below 0?C can be measured. To minimize self-heating, an unloaded AD595 will typically operate with a total supply current 160 ?A, but is also capable of delivering in excess of ?5 mA to a load. The  AD595 is laser trimmed for type K (chromel-alumel) inputs. The temperature transducer voltages and gain control resistors are available at the package pins so that the circuit can be recalibrated for the thermocouple types by the addition of two or three resistors. These terminals also allow more precise calibration for both thermocouple and thermometer applications. The AD595 is available in two performance grades. The C and the A versions have calibration accuracies of ?1?C and ?3?C, respectively. Both are designed to be used from 0?C to +50?C, and are available in 14-pin, hermetically sealed, sidebrazed ceramic DIPs as well as low cost cerdip packages.

AD620 IC – (SMD Package) – Low Power Instrumentation Amplifier IC

371.70
The AD620 SMD is a low cost, high accuracy instrumentation amplifier that requires only one external resistor to set gains of 1 to 10,000. Furthermore, the AD620 features 8-lead SOIC and DIP packaging that is smaller than discrete designs and offers lower power (only 1.3 mA max supply current), making it a good fit for battery-powered, portable (or remote) applications. The AD620 SMD, with its high accuracy of 40 ppm maximum nonlinearity, low offset voltage of 50 ?V max, and offset drift of 0.6 ?V/?C max, is ideal for use in precision data acquisition systems, such as weigh scales and transducer interfaces. Furthermore, the low noise, low input bias current, and low power of the AD620 SMD make it well suited for medical applications, such as ECG and noninvasive blood pressure monitors. The low input bias current of 1.0 nA max is made possible with the use of Super?eta processing in the input stage. The AD620 SMD works well as a pre amplifier due to its low input voltage noise of 9 nV/?Hz at 1 kHz, 0.28 ?V p-p in the 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz band, and 0.1 pA/?Hz input current noise. Also, the AD620 SMD is well suited for multiplexed applications with its settling time of 15 ?s to 0.01%, and its cost is low enough to enable designs with one in-amp per channel.
