This is a very easy to use low cost semiconductor Gas sensor Module with analog and digital output. This module uses MQ3 Alcohol gas sensor as a alcohol gas sensing element. It requires no external components just plug in Vcc & ground pins and you are ready to go. For Digital output the threshold value can be easily set by an on-board potentiometer.  Using this module you can easily interface MQ3 Alcohol sensor to any Microcontroller, Arduino or even Raspberry Pi. Since this Gas Sensor module is sensitive to alcohol it can be used in breathalyser. MQ3 Sensor also has small sensitivity to Benzine.

MQ-9 gas sensor module has high sensitivity to Carbon Monoxide, Methane and LPG. Sensitive material of MQ-9 gas sensor is SnO2, which with lower conductivity in clean air.  It makes detection by cycling high and low temperature, and detects CO when low temperature (heated by 1.5V). The sensor’s conductivity is higher along with the gas concentration rising. When temperature rises (heated by 5.0V), it detects Methane, Propane, combustible gas, etc  and cleans the other gases as it adsorbed under low temperature. MQ-9 usually pplied in domestic gas leakage detector, industrial gas detector, portable gas detector, etc.

The MT3608 2A Max DC-DC Step Up Power Module Booster Power Module is a low-cost module that can step-up a 2 to 24V input voltage up to a 5 to 28V output at up to 2A.

DC-DC boost converters step up the input voltage to a higher voltage while also stepping down the available current since the module cant output more power than its inputs. This boost converter is adjustable and capable of outputting a voltage in the range of 5.0 to 28V at a continuous current of up to 1.5A depending on input/output voltage settings with 1A available with most settings. Since it is a boost converter, the input voltage must be lower than the output voltage. The device is able to use low ESR bulk ceramic capacitors rather than electrolytic caps which avoids long-term aging concerns and contributes to the compact packaging. The MT3608 converter IC has over-current and thermal limiting features built-in to safely shut the device down if driven too hard.
