CD4077 Quad 2-Input Exclusive-NOR Gate IC DIP-14 Package

CD4077 belongs to the CD4000 IC series. CD4077 is a Quad 2-input exclusive NOR gate gate, designed by using the complementary MOS (CMOS) technology, integrated with P & N type enhancement mode transistors. This IC allows design engineers to directly implement positive logic exclusive NOR gate. CD4077 has a wide range working voltages and conditions. The offers many features such as high noise immunity and static protection through clamping diodes.

What is EXCLUSIVE-NOR Gate?

XNOR Gate is a type of digital logic gate that receives two inputs and produces one output. All inputs are treated with the same logic, responding equally to similar inputs. It is also known as an ?Equivalence Gate?. If all inputs to the XNOR gate are 0, the gate will produce a 1. If all inputs are 1, the gate will also produce a 1. However, if any input to the gate differs from the other, the gate will output a 0.
