Description

MQ-137 Ammonia Gas NH3 Sensor Module

The MQ137 sensor is a gas sensor module is specially designed to detect and sense gases like ammonia (NH3) and carbon monoxide (CO). The MQ137 gas sensor module comes with digital pins that can be connected to a microcontroller like Arduino boards and come in handy when you are only trying to detect one particular gas.

Applications of MQ137 Gas Sensor

  1. Detector measure Gases like NH3 or CO
  2. Air quality monitor
  3. Gas leak alarm
  4. Safety standard maintenance
  5. Maintaining environmental standards  in hospitals
How to detect gases with the MQ-137 gas sensor module?
  1. Power the gas sensor module with 5V and you should notice the power LED on the module glow.
  2. When no gas is detected the output LED will remain turned off meaning the digital output pin will be 0V.
  3. These sensors need pre-heating time before they can actually be used.
  4. Introduce the sensor to the gas you want to detect and you should see the output LED go high along with the digital pin, if not use the potentiometer until the output gets high.

Features:

  1. Wide detecting scope
  2. Fast response (less than 1s)
  3. High sensitivity( 3%)
  4. the circuit voltage: DC5V
  5. Stable and long life
  6. Analog output voltage: 0V to 5V
  7. Digital output voltage: 0V or 5V (TTL Logic)
  8. Can be used as a digital or analog sensor
  9. The sensitivity of digital output can be adjusted using an onboard potentiometer
  10. The TTL output valid signal is low. (When the output is low, the signal light is on, it can be directly connected to the MCU or relay module)
  11. The voltage of the analog output, the higher the concentration, the higher the voltage.
  12. Arduino compatible
