However, it is not easy to connect all the LEDs altogether if you want to build colorful LED projects. But, we have a solution for you and it is, Grove Chainable RGB LED v2.0. The keyword of this product is Chainable i.e. how many LEDs can be chained? So, now you can chain 1024 RGB LEDs at most by connecting the output grove connector of one LED to the input grove connector of another one. Isnt it amazing?
Grove Chainable RGB LED V2.0 is based on the P9813S14 chip. This chip is a full-color light source driver that can provide three constant-current drivers as well as 256 grayscale modulation output. It communicates with an MCU using 2-wire transmission (Data and clock). This 2-wire transmission can be used to cascade additional Grove Chainable RGB LED modules. The built-in clock regeneration enhances the transmission distance. This RGB LED is compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, Wio, and LinkIt platform.In this version v2.0, the grove connectors are adjusted to be parallel with the board instead of vertical, so that the cable doesnt need to be crooked.
