74HC160 IC – (SMD Package) – Presettable synchronous BCD decade counter IC (74160)
₹49.56
The 74HC160 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices and are pin compatible with low power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). They are specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The 74HC160 are synchronous preset table decade counters which feature an internal look-ahead carry and can be used for high-speed counting. Synchronous operation is provided by having all flip-flops clocked simultaneously on the positive-going edge of the clock (CP). The outputs (Q0 to Q3) of the counters may be preset to a HIGH or LOW level. A LOW level at the parallel enable input (PE) disables the counting action and causes the data at the data inputs (D0 to D3) to be loaded into the counter on the positive-going edge of the clock (providing that the set-up and hold time requirements for PE are met). Preset takes place regardless of the levels at count enable inputs (CEP and CET). A LOW level at the master reset input (MR) sets all four outputs of the flip-flops (Q0 to Q3) to LOW level regardless of the levels at CP, PE, CET and CEP inputs (thus providing an asynchronous clear function). The look-ahead carry simplifies serial cascading of the counters. Both count enable inputs (CEP and CET) must be HIGH to count. The CET input is fed forward to enable the terminal count output (TC). The TC output thus enabled will produce a HIGH output pulse of a duration approximately equal to a HIGH level output of Q0. This pulse can be used to enable the next cascaded stage. The maximum clock frequency for the cascaded counters is determined by the CP to TC propagation delay and CEP to CP set-up time, according to the following formula:

This synchronous reset feature enables the designer to modify the maximum count with only one external NAND gate. The look-ahead carry simplifies serial cascading of the counters. Both CEP and CET must be HIGH to count. The CET input is fed forward to enable the terminal count output (TC). The TC output thus enabled will produce a HIGH output pulse of a duration approximately equal to a HIGH output of Q0. This pulse can be used to enable the next cascaded stage. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC
74HC164 8-Bit Serial In/Parallel out Shift Register IC (74164 IC) DIP-14 Package

74HC164 IC – (SMD Package) – 8-Bit Serial In/Parallel out Shift Register IC (74164 IC)
₹16.52
The 74HC164 utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology. It has the high noise immunity and low consumption of standard CMOS integrated circuits. It also offers speeds comparable to low power Schottky devices. This 8-bit shift register has gated serial inputs and CLEAR. Each register bit is a D-type master/slave flip-flop. Inputs A & B permit complete control over the incoming data. A LOW at either or both inputs inhibits entry of new data and resets the first flip-flop to the low level at the next clock pulse. A high level on one input enables the other input which will then determine the state of the first flip-flop. Data at the serial inputs may be changed while the clock is HIGH or LOW, but only information meeting the setup and hold time requirements will be entered. Data is serially shifted in and out of the 8-bit register during the positive going transition of the clock pulse. Clear is independent of the clock and accomplished by a low level at the CLEAR input. The 74HC logic family is functionally as well as pin-out compatible with the standard 74LS logic family. All inputs are protected from damage due to static discharge by internal diode clamps to VCC and ground.

74HC165 IC – (SMD Package) – 8-Bit Parallel In/Serial Out Shift Register IC (74165 IC)
₹22.42
The 74HC165 high speed PARALLEL-IN/SERIAL-OUT SHIFT REGISTER utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology. It has the low power consumption and high noise immunity of standard CMOS integrated circuits, along with the ability to drive 10 LS-TTL loads. This 8-bit serial shift register shifts data from QA to QH when clocked. Parallel inputs to each stage are enabled by a low level at the SHIFT/LOAD input. Also included is a gated CLOCK input and a complementary output from the eighth bit. Clocking is accomplished through a 2-input NOR gate permitting one input to be used as a CLOCK INHIBIT function. Holding either of the CLOCK inputs high inhibits clocking, and holding either CLOCK input low with the SHIFT/LOAD input high enables the other CLOCK input. Data transfer occurs on the positive going edge of the clock. Parallel loading is inhibited as long as the SHIFT/LOAD input is HIGH. When taken LOW, data at the parallel inputs is loaded directly into the register independent of the state of the clock. The 74HC logic family is functionally as well as pin-out compatible with the standard 74LS logic family. All inputs are protected from damage due to static discharge by internal diode clamps to VCC and ground.
