SeeedStudio Grove IR Distance Interrupter v1.2 Module
Grove – IR Distance Interrupter v1.2 is provided with high-sensitivity ITR9909 photo-reflector, Grove – IR Distance Interrupter v1.2. The photo-reflector consists of a GaAs infrared light-emitting diode and a silicon planar phototransistor. When an object is placed right in front of the sensor, the reflective infrared light emitted from the emitter will be picked up by phototransistor and then outputs logical HIGH or logical LOW according to the distance between the reflection surface and the sensor.

However, the change in resistance due to ambient light is not linear; in low-light conditions, small changes in luminescence cause relatively large changes in resistance (or output voltage), but in well-lit conditions, changes in luminescence cause only small changes in resistance.
SeeedStudio Grove Line Finder v1.1 Module
it is very important to have a line finder device for such robots. That’s why we are presenting Grove – Line Finder v1.1 for you. It consists of two parts – an IR emitting LED and an IR sensitive phototransistor. When the phototransistor detects the reflected infrared light from the IR emitting LED, it will output a digital signal. This digital signal changes from HIGH to LOW. This Line Finder can output a digital signal to a microcontroller, so the robot can reliably follow a black line on a white background or vice versa. The line finder works on TTL digital output mode. The output becomes HIGH when black is detected and LOW when white is detected.

Mega Shield is an extension board for Arduino Mega and Google ADK. We have standardized all the connectors into 4 pins(Signal 1,Singal 2,VCC and GND) 2mm connectors and keep some of the 3pin(Signal, VCC, and GND ) 2.54mm headers for Servo and Electronic Bricks , which simplify the wiring of electronics projects. The 4pins buckled connectors also make the wiring situation more stable. The Mega Shield includes Digital 0 – 21 and Anolog 0 – 15; We abandon Digital 22 – 53 for easily installing Mega Shield with Xduino Mega/Google ADK.

Grove – Mini PIR Motion Sensor is compact, cost-effective, and has low power consumption; moreover, this sensor has adjustable sensitivity and there is a reserved pin out on the back of the board so that you can solder a slide rheostat to adjust the sensitivity. If you think the sensitivity is not enough, here is a trick for you. Drag the plastic cap a little up and it will help enhance the sensitivity. The detection distance in the datasheet is up to 3m to 5m, however, 2m is the recommended detection distance and also 25℃ is the most suitable temperature. It is completely suitable for applications with relatively fewer detection distance requirements and you can use this sensor in various applications such as Motion Sensor/Detector System, Security Alarm System, and Human Detection System.
